A wooden table with a glass top and a folding walnut chair by Tobia Scarpa

The new Ciàcola collection by Désirée which is made up of a table and a folding chair.

Born to live together in harmony, they can be used individually to enrich the rooms of the house.

The table is characterized by its light and sophisticated line at the same time thanks to the important top made of transparent glass, 19 mm thick.

The choice to use this material for the top gives a modern look to the table capable of creating an effect of visual lightness which lets light pass through harmoniously, generating suggestive plays of shadows. As well as giving rise to a visual depth capable of enhancing the environment in which it is inserted.

The table is then supported by a walnut wood base and legs that cross each other, via metal joints, forming an X.

A versatile piece of furniture which, thanks to its elegant design and transparent top can be integrated into different contexts and styles: from the kitchen to the dining room up to completing the living room.

The aesthetic characteristic of the base is also found in the folding chair designed with a walnut wood structure completed with metal joints that give it a contemporary appearance.

The chair is defined by clear and decisive lines: the straight lines that define it meet and collide to form a seat with simple joints.

But it is the three-dimensionality of walnut wood created by its suggestive grains that gives it character and depth, making it unique. Thanks to its folding feature, the Ciàcola chair is also practical: it can be easily stored when not in use.
