The original ovre.design project for the Hotel Val di Sogno in Malcesine, marked by spaces and rituals for a couple's life

Making the guest feel at home, in a domestic environment, marked by spaces and rituals of a couple's life. This is the philosophy that guided the project of the Hotel Val di Sogno in Malcesine, on the Veronese shore of Lake Garda, born when the client asked the architect Giulia Delpiano and the designer Corrado Conti to create some lake view rooms with a concept original. The structure is in fact an adults only hotel for an experience of absolute intimacy and tranquility. This is how the common path of Hotel Val di Sogno and the ovre.design studio began, which was then developed over the following years and is still ongoing, featuring suites, rooms and common areas of the hotel.

The hotel, overlooking the bay of the same name, is a four-star superior, with 36 rooms and some suites all with lake views, where guests are welcomed by the comfort of intimate spaces characterized by careful stylistic research of the furnishings. In the common areas, the reception area was created by revising the layout: welcome table, pouf and velvet armchairs, where design and quality create a welcoming welcome space.

The office area has been transformed into an area that includes a merchandising of furnishing accessories and clothing items designed by ovre.design, in a coordinated project carried out with companies and the collaboration of specialized craftsmen. The bar area has undergone a careful restyling which, starting from a pre-existing base, involved furnishings and the choice of upholstery and textiles in the name of customization and comfort.

Rooms and suites are distinguished by an accentuated identity, the result of design creativity in creating unique environments, embellished by attention to detail. Among the suites, the Splendid Junior Suite, a spacious and elegant environment characterized by the colors that blend with the design and welcomes guests in the tones of the sky and the lake. Strong personality for The Blue Pearl room with a retro-chic flavor, a tribute to the iconic Italian design and to the forms of European modernism. Lovely Nest, on the other hand, is characterized by warm tones that recall the warmth of a romantic nest with the refined details of the furnishings and the view of the lake enhanced by the large window.

During the intervention, ovre.design also took care of the outdoor area with the design of a Corten gate that suggests a series of windows that suggestively anticipate the welcoming atmosphere of the hotel. At the base of each intervention, which provides for the design of three other suites in 2022, the will of the client to enhance the structure to offer even more an authentic experience of well-being.
