In Milan, in the San Siro area, AXA IM Alts announces the redevelopment of via dei Rospigliosi, with a 30,000 m2 urban regeneration project

It was officially inaugurated, in the presence of the Mayor of Milan Giuseppe Sala and the Councilor for Urban Regeneration of the Municipality of Milan, Giancarlo Tancredi, the start of work in via dei Rospigliosi, which will create a new residential complex in the San Siro area, including residential units and new green spaces.

How to design an urban area for the future

Promoting the project is AXA IM Alts, global leader in alternative investments, which - over to be responsible for obtaining the Concordat with the Municipality of Milan - together with the parties and the creative mind of Studio Marco Piva, he designed and conceived the project, sharing the objectives to be achieved in terms of sustainability.

The result takes shape in the entire redevelopment of the area: 30,000 square metres organized into residential units powered by renewable energy sources and services designed to facilitate the daily lives of residents, such as charging spaces for electric vehicles, for example.

In fact, the project aims to obtain energy class A for the entire complex and BREEAM "Good" certification for the subsidized building portion only.

Not just residential units

To complete the area, some green areas will also be created (specifically for a 10,000 m2 complex) designed to repopulate the neighborhood with plants and, thus, facilitate carbon dioxide savings carbon: in this sense, AXA IM Alts will also contribute to the planting of over 100 new trees and the preservation of three historic plane trees. /strong>, all to encourage the development of biodiversity on site.

AXA IM Alts' commitment to local communities

The urban regeneration project of Via dei Rospigliosi reflects AXA IM Alts's intention to engage in promoting positive changes in society, benefiting local communities strong> in which it operates; in addition to the design aspect, 50% of the newly built living spaces will be rented at subsidized prices.

Positioned in an area known for its green spaces and sports facilities, the project for which Redbrick will act as development manager, is adjacent to the famous San Siro football stadium, home of AC Milan. Milan and F.C. Internazionale, and the San Siro Ippodromo metro station, which offers residents direct access to the city center in less than ten minutes.
