A path on which to walk and discover the magic of ceramics, a set of installations that are easy to assemble and disassemble

COURTYARD OF HONOR SUBPORCH, UNIVERSITY OF MILAN - A path along which you can walk and discover the magic of the ceramics on display, through the multiple reflections that the mirrored planes create between them.

“In the world we live in, we consume as quickly as we throw away, and we immediately forget what we have consumed.” This is the starting point for the House of Mirrors project by the Spanish architectural duo La Errería *, created for the international brand Tile of Spain

The project presents a set of installations that are easy to assemble and dismantle for transport to other parts of the city or used in other exhibitions and/or commercial events.

It is a series of reflective displays among which the visitors can walk, as if they were in a single work formed by a prismatic composition of ceramic surfaces reflected, together with the people and the surrounding space, in mirrored planes, generating an infinite composition.

The installation consists of ceramic elements with mirrored walls that multiply the view of the tiles on display. An example of the versatile Tile of Spain catalogue, presenting Spanish ceramic manufacturers.
