A project by Roberta Studio with Paolo Michieli for Michieli Floricoltura with lighting by Flux cs and Griven. Sottoportico Cortile d’Onore - Università degli Studi di Milano

A major leap of dimension, made possible by a project refined in all its details by Roberta Filippini, owner of Roberta Studio, and Paolo Michieli for Michieli Floricoltura, a leading Italian company for the production and cultivation of Tillandsia in Italy and Europe.

Set up along the portico, the installation Tillandsia Wall Green Wave displays the unique characteristics of Tillandsia plants, the protagonists of the work. Belonging to the Bromeliaceae family, of great decorative value and with beneficial properties, these plants improve air quality in their surroundings and change their coloring when in bloom.

Their foliage is capable of absorbing a part of VOC in the environment (Volatile Organic Compounds). A large green wave based on the tenets of biophilic design, a clean sign based on the organic forms of nature, a flying garden in three dimensions, to observe and discover its hidden details. Light design by Flux cs and Griven.
