The architectural project by Renzo Piano
The Academy Museum of Motion Pictures in Los Angeles is the largest institution in the United States dedicated to art, cinema and moviemaking artists. The museum is housed in the May Company which has been renovated and enlarged thanks to Renzo Piano's project.
Spread over approximately 30,000 square meters , the cultural institution has more than 4700 square meters of exhibition spaces used to house a permanent exhibition, temporary exhibitions, two cinemas and theaters, as well as educational programs related to the film industry and flexible environments for special and public events.
