The modular system for backless wall-mounted or centre-mounted bookcases

The search for innovative materials, the study of shapes and styles that mix design, functionality and reliability, allows for a wide variety of furnishing solutions and leaves room for great customisation. The wide compositional flexibility allows to bring comfort, safety and wellbeing into the home. These are the guidelines followed by Boffi in the conception of Antibes System.

Extreme compositional flexibility

Designed by Piero Lissoni + C.R.S. Boffi, Antibes System is a modular system for wall-mounted or freestanding bookcases. It recalls the vertical and horizontal thicknesses of the Antibes programme and is characterised by extreme compositional flexibility, thanks to the various heights of the sides and the multiple widths of shelves and bases.

Evolution of a system

The wooden structure, which used to include only shelves, has evolved: Boffi's new system accommodates TV compartments in different heights, compartments with writing desk, drawer units and storage units with drop-down doors.

Continuous research

The stylistic research has also developed an additional frame that frames a specific area, such as the TV compartment, and is always contrasting: matt or glossy lacquered. The latter introduced by Boffi exclusively for these frames. Even greater versatility is provided by the possibility of integrating aluminium and 4 mm thick glass doors.

Accessories and Led lighting

Aesthetics and functionality meet in the addition of specific accessories for Boffi's Antibes System: contrasting lacquered L-shaped elements are available in various heights depending on the module in which they are inserted, creating plays of colour and movement. Completing the system is the possibility of including LED bar lighting, which emphasises its elegance and architectural values.
