Matt, glossy and embossed finishes with which the radiators of some collections can be customised

What would a world without colours be like? It would be a world without light, because without light there would be no colours: the white sunlight that hits every object is partly absorbed, partly reflected. Thanks to Isacc Newton's studies and his experiments in breaking down light through a glass prism, we know that the wavelength of the reflection determines the colour of the object we are observing. Colour, in essence, is what is left of light.

The thousand shades of green

Bright, deep, dark or pastel, the colour green recalls nature in its shades and is a symbol of respect for the planet, of a sustainable, green philosophy. With this in mind, the colour green was already used by the ancient Egyptians five thousand years ago: it symbolised lush vegetation and the fertility of the Nile.

A mysterious colour

For Michel Pastoureau, a French historian and anthropologist who has devoted years of study and research to colours, green is a colour that hides its intentions, seemingly tranquil. In Yoga philosophy, it is associated with the fourth chakra, that of the heart, and represents pure, unconditional love, stimulating the noblest feelings. In short, it is a mysterious colour, as rich in symbols as its other brothers: they all conceal meanings, reveal unconscious effects, reflect states of mind.

The choice of Antrax IT: 16 shades in the catalogue

In interior design, too, the choice of colour is important when designing a room. Including the choice of furniture and accessories. Among the latter, Antrax IT furnishing radiators now offer sixteen shades of green in the catalogue, including matt, glossy and embossed finishes, with which it is possible to customise the 100% recyclable and low consumption aluminium radiators, such as Serie T, Waffle, Teso and Loft, designed by Matteo Thun&Antonio Rodriguez, Piero Lissoni, Dante O. Benini&Luca Gonzo and Andrea Crosetta.
