With the update of the Ak_Project system, the Friuli-based company confirms its position as a leader in the design of storage fittings

A ghost lurks in the kitchen: clutter. It is up to design to re-assign a place to everything and put everything back in its place. For more than fortyyears, the extensive emphasis on storage arrangements has been the emblem of the constant research of Arrital, a Friuli-based company that, at the last edition of Eurocucina, presented the expansion of the Ak_Project system signed by Franco Driusso, launched in 2017 and, since then, a reference point for designers and customers in search of high-end solutions that allow space to be managed with rationality, functionality and aesthetics.

Security, tranquillity and harmony

"The kitchen," explains Driusso, "is the place devoted to daily conviviality, to the creative act of food preparation, to sharing. It is the functional and emotional centre of gravity of the home, as well as the place most experienced. It is an environment that must be able to transmit security, tranquillity and harmony. For this reason, when I think of a new kitchen project, I always try to integrate it, almost merge it, with the architecture, creating a material and emotional continuum where the boundary between furniture and built is almost imperceptible".

The design of storage spaces

Arrital's dedication to the design of storage spaces has always been a central element of the brand's production, which includes the possibility of designing tall units with retracting doors and pantry corner units according to their intended use: cooking, washing, preparation and pantry. In this sense, the Sipario portal is strategic, composed of 4 packet doors: a structure proposed in multiple configurations and finishes, available with and without hood, in 2 external widths, 3 heights and 3 depths. In the 2022 update of Ak_Project, Arrital presents Sipario in the version with Tonga wood-effect finish doors and integrated working hob area on a steel top.

Different functions

The lighting and extractor hood with remote control are elegantly recessed into the structure, which also includes the electrified bar and DayBox elements in the same finish as the doors. Sipario can be installed independently or combined with other tall units with different functions.

A complete collection

Completing the collection are the living room furniture elements of the Feeling Home collection, including the Pass System entrance module, the GEM display cabinets in the new 120 cm modularity and equipped with new interior accessories (bottle holder, glass holder, plate holder), Ak_Winery, the Vertical bookcase and the Lympha hanging lamp that can be customised with the finishes of the kitchens.

Research and innovation

With the system update, Arrital continues its path of research and innovation on design issues with the aim of improving people's comfort and well-being; an increase not only in content, but also in the opportunities on offer that allow the consumer to modulate his or her needs and aesthetic taste among a wide range of finishes and design solutions.
