The luxury brand's fine yarns dress Rio R50, the iconic seat designed by Anton Cristell and Emanuel Gargano for the Umbrian outdoor brand

What happens when two excellences of Made in Italy meet, decide to combine their creativity and work together in the common sharing of values such as reliability, innovation, Italian tradition and innovative design? The result is a concentration of knowledge and experience that know how to interpret new projects or reinterpret, innovating them, iconic products.

Outdoor, sustainability, innovation

This is the fruit of the encounter between Emu and Lorena Antoniazzi. On the one hand, the Umbrian company that for years has traced a path of innovation, sustainability and international vocation in the outdoor sector to experience the garden in comfort, conviviality and relaxation. On the other, a luxury brand specialising in high-end knitwear that has made elegance and contemporaneity the founding values of its corporate philosophy.

An iconic seat

Thus was born the idea of "dressing" Rio R50, the iconic Emu chair designed by Anton Cristell and Emanuel Gargano, with precious yarns: a re-edition of the historic Rio model of the 1970s, from which it is distinguished by the ergonomics achieved by the modelling of the seat mesh. Another distinguishing feature is the characteristic R-shape of the tubular steel Asform structure, which guarantees high strength. The Rio R50 line consists of a dining chair and armchair, lounge chair also available in a rocking version, stool and low table.

Exclusive capsule

The cushion and plaid collection is inspired by Lorena Antoniazzi's Chalet FW23 capsule and made with different textures such as braids, fur-effect stitch, jacquard and stars, in a colour palette ranging from white to leather, through grey melange to black.
