A tribute to Middle Eastern culture between contemporaneity and tradition: the Noor collection designed by Francesco Dei Rossi

Noor means "light" in Arabic and was born from a visionary fairy tale becoming a collection of lamps designed by Francesco Dei Rossi for de Majo: interweaving engraved in the metal combined with blown glass elements give life to compositions that have light as the absolute protagonist.

Through the material, the light is enriched with precious suggestions and is reflected in the environments creating scenographic effects. The possibility of customization through a wide choice of colors and glass and metal treatments, offers the opportunity to develop custom solutions for every need.

Born from the collaboration with the architectural firm H&A Associati, the collection enters the de Majo catalog keeping alive the Murano glass tradition, suggesting exotic atmospheres, representing a dynamic and balanced contamination of styles expressed by unique and distinctive objects shaped by the de Majo artisans.

The line consists of metal and metal / glass wall lights, chandeliers, ceiling lights, suspension and lanterns to meet the needs of clients, architects and design professionals. Solutions that contain the know-how and technical skills developed in over 70 years of activity.

Strengthened by its roots and its history, with Noor de Majo embarks on a new path in the name of innovation and experimentation, projecting itself into the future with a collection of precious and evocative objects, capable of being placed in the most diverse contexts (from the residential spaces of value to the contract) characterizing them in a distinctive way.

Metal processing is done with 3d laser cutting, numerically controlled bending, welding is done by hand. The artisan blowing technique is used for the glass. The metallic finishes are available on request (galvanic, painting, rough work) as well as those of the glass with customized colors: 24k yellow gold leaf, white gold, pink gold, silver.
