From the partnership between Flexform and Antonio Citterio comes Gregory, a new and timeless sofa with sophisticated tailored details

Antonio Citterio's distinctive styling and Flexform's production know-how are  again expressed together in a sofa with a strong personality and flawless proportions, rich in sophisticated structural details that make it the centerpiece of any living space.

Gregory features an original metal base whose austerity is tempered by being combined with leather, a warm and refined material used for the visible parts of the elastic webbing supporting the seat cushions. This detail is a special stylist feature as well as being highly functional. This aesthetic-formal solution is attributable to the know-how that is part of the company’s genetic heritage, like the finely tailored upholstery with grosgrain piping used to profile the soft cushions. The backrest cushions and bolster, filled with goose down, favor a correct posture during reading and significantly heighten the level of comfort.

The metal frame and die-cast aluminum feet are available in a variety of finishes that make for refined combinations with the leather of the webbing, available in tobacco, dark brown and black. The Gregory seating system is perfectly poised between classical and modern, while its modular versatility enables it to create innumerable configurations, elegantly adapting it to a wide range of settings.

Gregory is a seating system suitable for those who want an eye-catching sofa in their living area, rich in fine detailing which also offers the comfort expected from a Flexform product
How is it made?
The die-cast metal base is enriched with elegant leather banding. The combination of metal and leather creates refined combinations with the sofa fabric, from cotton to nubuck leather, in turn finished with grosgrain piping typical of the brand's know-how.
How is it produced and where?
An elastic frame finished in leather is added to the metal structure to ensure strength and flexibility. The backrests are then mounted with a sophisticated bayonet mechanism that facilitates the removal of the covers. Finally, the seat cushions in blown polyester fiber are arranged and upholstered with the covers sewn by the expert seamstresses in the company’s atelier. The production process is carried out at the firm’s Meda facility.
How is it manufactured?
Many elements in this sofa reflect Flexform's know-how. First of all, the ability to work leather and understand its properties, as well as the skills of the seamstresses, evident in the stitching of the piping and upholstery.
