At a glance

What is it?
Gym Space is a system that combines the typical bath furnishings with a wall structure for physical activity, creating an organized wellness concept to respond to contemporary needs. An active lifestyle, without losing sight of appealing design.
What is the design concept?
The main thrust of the project is the reinterpretation of wall bars. Gym Space brings the fitness area into everyday life and suggests a new way of thinking about the bathroom as an expression of the concept of wellness and lifestyle.
How is it made?
The modular furnishing system in plywood is available in two finishes – one more tradition, in pale Blond wood, and a warmer one in dark Core wood – and the formats 70, 90 or 120 cm. There are two colors for the accessories – White and Anthracite – attached to the structure to create a compact, complete composition.
How and where is it manufactured?
The structures of the wall bars, designed by Scavolini, are made by a partner supplier starting with solid wood and plywood panels. The accessories, in coated metal, are designed by the company and produced by a supply partner. The system can be combined with furnishings and accessories from all the Scavolini bathroom collections.
The technical side?
The challenge was to transfer exercise gear like wall bars into an interior design context, transforming it into furnishings for easy installation.
What’s special?
The distinctive feature is the idea of putting a fitness corner into the bathroom in an original way, through the contemporary reinterpretation of exercise wall bars, used as a base for other exercise gear (benches, elastics and TRX) and to attach bathroom accessories (lamps, soap dishes, shelves, cabinets, mirrors).
What’s it like?
Innovative, compact, personalized.
What does the designer say?

Today, more than ever before, having a fitness space in the home has become fundamental: the Gym Space project offers access to exercise functions, combining good looks and functional quality in a context of maximum personalization.”
