Designed by Vittore Niolu, the kitchen and living project interprets the needs of a home that can also serve as an office

A kitchen, living and bathroom project where linearity and graphic design meet, faithful to the Scavolini tradition and at the same time innovative, the result of teamwork between the company and the designer Vittore Niolu. Thus was born the new Formalia collection, with a design that wants to respond to the concrete needs of everyday life, enhancing the kitchen as the true center of the home.

The result of in-depth research into the evolution of contemporary living and the design approach for the kitchen, living room and bathroom by Scavolini, Formalia is a modular and unconventional proposal that perfectly interprets the social role of the contemporary home.

Observes Fabiana Scavolini, CEO of the company founded in 1961 in Pesaro: “The search for essence, both in form and in matter, is the strong point of the project in which design responds to the concrete needs of everyday life, enhancing refined way every room of the house”.

The distinctive feature of Formalia is the shaped door on which the metal handle is positioned, capable of creating a rigorous and contemporary play of lines. The linear development and the signs with a regular rhythm are the codes of the project also declined in the details of the Status Parete System: a modular open structure that can be integrated into the kitchen project or freely installed as a dividing element of adjacent living rooms.

Status enhances the game of symmetries by enhancing the concept of everything on sight with always different combinations. A versatility that enhances various solutions, such as that of creating a comfortable office area within the home.

Modular and versatile, Formalia reinterprets the home system through integrated furniture by function: each element – bookcases, custom-made containers, modular elements and desks – finds its ideal location for highly customized environments for a free configuration.

The result of Scavolini's desire for experimentation is the introduction of the titanium finish that creates elegant chromatic connections between the wall units, handles, plinths and the Status structure. These elements are also available in refined black and rust shades, which together with the lacquered, decorative or recycled PET versions of the doors, allow them to be mixed together for maximum customization of the environment.
