Skeens: a new vision of wooden boiserie with a thickness close to zero.

Tabu presents Skeens: a new vision of wooden boiserie with a thickness close to zero. Lightweight wooden sheets (natural, stained and multilaminar), pre-painted and produced with a dedicated system that enables this new solution to be applied directly to walls, doors, cladding and panels. Skeens is divided into 12 basic wooden fabrics that are multiplied by the possibility of arranging each one in three embossed variants: Flower, Leaf and Tweed. A delicate, raised pattern that draws floral motifs (Flower embossing), natural motifs and leaves (Leaf embossing) or rhomboid geometric motifs (Tweed embossing) in the wood fiber. The collection has 45 codes distributed in 3 “lifestyles”: Classic, Style, Creative. The species of timber used in the Skeens collection, FSC® certified – hence from forests managed in compliance with the cycles of nature and in keeping with reforestation policies – are: Bolivar, Eucalyptus, Larch, Walnut, Oak and Linden. In addition, Skeens has A+ certification which guarantees the highest requirements for respect for the environment and human health (therefore free from emissions of harmful substances in the environment, such as volatile organic compounds (VOC) like benzene and formaldehyde).

The collection includes the new Bolivar Silk Blue SK3, which combines the softness and elegance of silk with American Bolivar wood, in the shade of blue: a color that infuses inner calm and furthers the study of refined environments as havens. Bolivar of Tabu, originally from the east coast of the United States of America, FSC® and A+ certified, is a new wood in this aesthetic version: its natural shades make the perception of blue intense, bringing the color of the sky into a room.
