Torch n55 and Lantern n55 by Mario Nanni for Viabizzuno. Versatile lamps with interchangeable light sources

Torch n55 and Lanterna n55 by Viabizzuno are two new lighting devices for indoors, portable and powered by mains or battery (battery life 10 hours and charging time 12 hours). Versatile, they can become free standing, wall-mounted or suspension lamps, as well as technical or decorative lights. “The n55 patent created in 2014 enables them to switch between standard bulbs, technical bulbs for spotlights and decorative lighting,” says the designer Mario Nanni, “but today the range is expanded with the new Torch n55 and Lantern n55 lights that make for great flexibility and versatility.”

Their distinctive feature is that they are portable, battery or mains powered, and both can also be free-standing, wall-mounted or suspensions lamps.

Torch n55 consists of a 400 mm long knurled cylinder which acts as a handle and houses the battery. Lantern n55 has a base 130 mm in diameter for the battery to which are fixed two rigid rods 529 mm long supporting the heatsink with the n55 system, which can rotate 180° on its horizontal axis to facilitate the interchangeability of the bulbs.

Both are made of oxidized aluminum and are available in the finishes hacca silver, nero55.

In the Mario Nanni project, the extreme flexibility and versatility of these lights are accompanied by low maintenance costs, energy savings and, last but not least, a light capable of becoming poetry.
