New initiative for Igv Group, a historic brand in the lift sector that continues its path as a reference point for design with customized custom products with Made in Italy quality. Careful design, choice of materials, technologies and interaction for a new generation of elevators which, from a simple functional element, evolve to integrate with the architecture and interior spaces.

A growth process that the company supports in the training of young professionals of the future, involving the students of the Master in Contemporary Interior Design of Istituto Marangoni Milano. Under the artistic direction of Carlo Colombo, architect and designer, and Giulio Cappellini, Art Director of IGV Group and Brand Ambassador of Istituto Marangoni Milano, the students tried their hand at designing lifts that expressed the style and design proposal of the residential complex assigned by the commission: an interpretation of the space extended to the vertical transport element designed both for the residents of the building and for an external audience. Interior design should not be limited to reducing the environmental impact on the ecosystem and on people's health: interior spaces and technology must be designed to improve the relationships between natural systems, the interiors of buildings and their inhabitants. This approach, called regenerative design, was the focus of the course.

"We aim to create a new elevator culture. A space without limits to the imagination. For this reason, today it is more strategic than ever to support young design talents, able to offer new visions. The studies presented capture for their imaginative power and design elegance expressed in perfect coherence with the concept of the object of study. Microarchitectures capable of giving even more personality to the building and its interiors. Their in-depth analysis and incredible interpretation makes us happy to have supported them in this growth path ”, explained Michele Suria, CEO of Igv Group.
