A technological advance in both product aesthetics and commitment to the environment: the new galvanic line from Cristina Rubinetterie

In the Gargallo (Novara) factory, used by Cristina Rubinetterie to produce the new galvanic line, every detail has been designed to save energy and reduce environmental impact: from thethermal insulation of the tanks containing heated liquids (each equipped with an automatically opening and closing lid system) to the waste water treatment solutions which, thanks to an advanced purification system, allows its reuse.

Reduced consumption

The purification system ensures continuous and efficient production of the galvanic line, using less than one thousand litres of water per hour; a comparable galvanic plant in size and capacity would require at least seven times as much. ‘Our previous galvanic plant, which in size and capacity was a third of the new one, consumed the same amount of water. The new investment, therefore, not only reduces consumption, but has allowed us to increase production, proving that sustainability and energy efficiency can go hand in hand,’ said Daniele Mazzon, general manager of cristina Rubinetterie.

Quality finishes

The new galvanic line has been set up to deposit a double nickel treatment on the taps, both semi-gloss and glossy: an added value compared to industry parameters that ensures better resistance to corrosion. An automatic 4.0 system managed by efficient management software, the galvanic line improves production and demonstrates how the industry can operate in a more sustainable way, representing a fundamental step towards a greener future and reinforcing Cristina Rubinetterie's ambitious mission, summed up in the pay-off From Yellow to Green.
