The new collection between 1950s echoes and fashion inspirations

There are projects that are born to pierce the curtain of time. And that, when they succeed, go beyond precise labels and styles, asserting themselves through their own unique and distinctive identity. This is the case with Jungle by Sambonet, the sophisticated collection of stainless steel cutlery by designer Gianni Cinti, the result of an eclectic contamination between art, fashion and design in the typical style of the author, who has always moved at the crossroads of languages and approaches typical of different worlds.

Asymmetrical graphism

Jungle is an apparently random interweaving of natural elements, leaves, abstract signs, superimpositions and geometric rigours which, only when the fork, spoon and knife are brought together, sees the asymmetrical graphism conceived by the designer for the collection reassembled. The decoration visually unites all the cutlery, giving rise to an emotional, design, technical and functional journey, able to offer different levels of interpretation and cues for interpretation.

Trendy lifestyle at the table

The Jungle project expresses the excellence of Sambonet, the Piedmontese brand of cutlery and design objects that has been coining the trendy lifestyle at the table for over a hundred and fifty years. These cutlery items offer new ideas for contemporary catering, both for the mise-en-place and for an evocative mix&match of styles and contaminations.

Meeting metaphor

The foliage pattern, with its elegant references to the 1950s, was designed and conceived in its entirety, then deconstructed and again individually reassembled on the fork, spoon and knife. The pattern rests with precision on both sides of these functional and durable objects, giving their linearity a strong emotional, romantic, tactile charge. As Sambonet explains: "Cutlery - like the encounters that develop between people - acquires a new meaning when it is 'found' together on the table, characterising it and making it unique. This is why Jungle becomes a metaphor for the encounter as an opportunity to 'slow down' and savour each moment of sharing. In continuity with its design, Jungle is able to open up and define different interpretations and ideas of the table. A new classic as well as an extremely versatile wardrobe item that can express different looks depending on the combination".

New colours for new meanings

Jungle is available in several versions: in addition to the unfailing stainless steel version, there is a palette of Pvd Gold, Copper and 2Black colours - an avant-garde technique and registered know-how, testimony to the company's quality and continuous research and development - that gives the steel, and the cutlery itself, new meanings.
