Skyway Monte Bianco is not just a cableway, it is an idea: to bring man closer to the mountains and the sky, to broaden horizons and overcome borders. Kartell is a company committed to enhancing design, beauty and quality through sustainability practices. From this green and technological collaboration, the Kartell Bistrot Panoramic project, the tallest coffee in Italy, could only start. Punta Helbronner (3,466 meters, the closest peak to the summit of Mont Blanc) is pure beauty. Being able to not hide it from view using transparency is the great merit of this operation.
Design, technology, sustainability
Inaugurated yesterday, to coincide with the opening of Courmayeur Design Week-end, the project is set up with furnishings made of the new polycarbonate 2.0, an exclusive Kartell furniture product, produced from industrial waste of cellulose and ISCC * certified paper (International Sustainability and Carbon Certification). A project that enhances the surrounding natural environment, ambitiously combining engineering and design in the name of sustainability. Over the years, Kartell has come to produce design and furnishing objects that combine production technology and innovative materials such as carbon, biopolymers, recycled materials, FSC certified 3D curved wood and green polycarbonate. Sustainability is now central to the Kartell philosophy, committed through the Kartell loves the planet manifesto to accelerating the conversion processes of the material, setting 2030 as the final goal to produce completely in the Green version.
Environment, energy, future
Skyway Montebianco and Kartell are two realities united by the same ethical vision, convinced that beauty should be promoted while respecting the environment that is free to tell itself through its own energy. From this unity of intentions, ideals and visions comes the desire for a collaboration that looks to the future, under the banner of beauty and respect for the Planet.
