Design, technology, sustainability
Inaugurated yesterday, to coincide with the opening of Courmayeur Design Week-end, the project is set up with furnishings made of the new polycarbonate 2.0, an exclusive Kartell furniture product, produced from industrial waste of cellulose and ISCC * certified paper (International Sustainability and Carbon Certification). A project that enhances the surrounding natural environment, ambitiously combining engineering and design in the name of sustainability. Over the years, Kartell has come to produce design and furnishing objects that combine production technology and innovative materials such as carbon, biopolymers, recycled materials, FSC certified 3D curved wood and green polycarbonate. Sustainability is now central to the Kartell philosophy, committed through the Kartell loves the planet manifesto to accelerating the conversion processes of the material, setting 2030 as the final goal to produce completely in the Green version.
