After the success at Orgatec and the awards at the Archiproducts Design Awards, Mara presents the concept in the Gabriel showroom in Piazza Castello 24. A colourful and representative installation of her new design, which can be visited until January

Innovation, research, quality, sustainability and customer service. These are the strong points of Mara, a company that started out more than sixty years ago from Brescia and has come to conquer great design capitals such as Cologne and Milan. Through a journey that recounts the growth of the brand and a design path capable of mixing the revolutions taking place in the living and office system. Modern interior trends, favourable to a hybridisation between private and office environments, have in fact allowed new areas to be explored.

New working models

The search for new forms of agile work and formulas for face-to-face work, the reorganisation of management offices in favour of meeting areas, the importance of listening from the bottom up and no longer from the top for the creation of new work spaces. The way of relating to work and its dimension are destined to evolve further. Mara fits into this moving universe with a project and consolidated know-how capable of going along with the changes, and guaranteeing state-of-the-art solutions.

Comfortable conviviality

In Milan, the company, led by the third generation of the Marchina family, presented the Setting Colours installation in the Gabriel partner showroom in Piazza Castello, which can be visited until the end of January 2023. A composition created with the latest collections: surrounded by the precious Gabriel fabrics, the Icon chairs and Follow tables (with an integrated and patented mechanical height adjustment system) recreated a corner of comfortable conviviality immersed in colour.

A colourful concept

After its debut at Orgatec in Germany, 'Setting Colours' is the concept that defines Mara's image and sees colour as a new key. A palette, which from red touches a series of similar shades and colours, becomes part of the range of finishes available for the brand's products, playing on the emotionality and visual strength of the colours.

Fluidity and transformability of spaces

From the hybridisation of home and office furniture, the Icon seating collection was born, in collaboration with designer Marcello Ziliani: a technical product of transversal design that can adapt to the home, hospitality, and contemporary working space, revisiting the cockpit seat with an integrated mechanism that allows independent movement of the seat and backrest. In the same mood, the range extensions of the multifunctional and space-saving tables, adjustable in height with a mechanical system to meet the need for fluidity and transformability of spaces.
