The Vicenza-based company's marble for the new Palm Angels boutique in Paris

Marble at the centre

From its headquarters in Chiampo in the province of Vicenza, Margraf operates in the sector with extreme attention to research and technological innovation, in close collaboration with internationally renowned architects and designers. Extracting marble to transform it into slabs and tiles, proposing a wide range of products for building and architecture (interior cladding, external facades, furnishing elements from bathroom to kitchen) are just some of the pluses offered.

The French R-evolution of Palm Angels

Inspired by classic themes that intertwine with Palm Angels' creative and breakthrough language, the 400 square metre space reflects the brand's French R-evolution: the combination of seemingly contrasting elements (unprocessed and refined, unconventional and conventional) are mixed to achieve a synthesis of great impact. The shop is on two levels and features a series of fluid spaces where customers can explore and interact with the brand: a lounge area, a botanical corner (created in collaboration with This Humid House - THH) and a sales area.

An immersive environment

Charles-Edmond Henry and the entire Studio Henry team, in collaboration with Margraf, have created an immersive environment that showcases the brand's unique aesthetic, drawing inspiration from both contemporary cultures and classic French architectural styles. The designers incorporated raw and refined materials, such as metal, wood and marble, for a balance that is both elegant and rough.

A spectacular staircase

Made of Lipica Unito and Fior di Pesco Carnico, marble of which Margraf owns the only quarry in the world in Forni Avoltri (Udine), the spectacular ornamental staircase connecting the ground floor to the upper level. The structure was imagined as a scenic centrepiece, inspired by the monumental grand escalier of the Opera Garnier.

Craftsmanship

To embellish the rooms and make the experience unique for visitors, special graphic elements such as the skate made entirely of Fior di Pesco Carnico marble by skilled Margraf craftsmen have been included.

New horizons

The collaboration between Margraf, Studio Henry and Palm Angels opens up new horizons in the approach to luxury fashion retail: from the inspiration of the brand's art director, to architectural and interior design, through to technical consultancy and material installation, Margraf confirms itself as a strategic partner in the realisation of exclusive and engaging points of sale.
