In the new OPPO Reno8 Pro smartphone, fruition meets aesthetics. The design of the device took 400 working days and was conceived to maximize ergonomics

OPPO Reno8 Pro, the latest high-end model launched on the market by the global smart device brand, is synonymous with aesthetics, but also with the search for design solutions that can simplify functionalities and make the user’s life easier.

In a word? Ergonomics, the concept-value that guided its design.

Designed for hands and eyes

Both body and screen layout of the OPPO Reno8 Pro were designed with equal care.

The body was specially conceived for the user's hands, so as to achieve maximum handling; while the screen was designed to improve content clarity and visibility. Two fundamental features for the use of a smartphone today.

Design without borders

More of a design helps to achieve a comfortable feel when holding the phone: the body of the OPPO Reno8 Pro has a single glass body at the rear. A solution that avoids the intersection between two different materials (those of the frame and the two-flash camera module).

We can define it as a 'design without borders', which thanks to the smooth surface in a single element avoids the accumulation of dust and dirt in the coupling of the different parts.

In addition, this type of design makes the smartphone more comfortable to hold, while the bulge in the camera area improves grip and handling.

And as demonstrated by the 400 days of work by the research and development department and the over 100 interventions of the fine-tuning, OPPO’s attention is confirmed to be concentrated on obtaining the maximum ergonomics of the new smartphone.

Artisan building quality

The hi-tech world can no longer be defined as merely devoted to the functionality of devices. In fact, the OPPO Reno8 Pro uses artisanal processing to achieve the best in construction quality and ergonomics. For example, the glass that covers the body is modeled using a mold with a high temperature (800° C) and high pressure (120 kg) production process, which also manages to impress the textures on the finished material.

To ensure a high degree of finish, the mold is first subjected to a three-step hand polishing. While the eight nano-scale polishing steps directly on the glass, make the cover ultra-fine.

The construction of the body in Gorilla Glass, on the other hand, guarantees a high degree of robustness to the smartphone.

The smart phone in numbers

Moving on to the display, the OPPO Reno8 Pro is equipped with the 6.7" Ultra Clear 120Hz AMOLED screen with lower bezels of about 2.37 mm and side bezels of about 1.48 mm.

In addition, a redesign of the internal layout of the phone allowed engineers to minimize the thickness of the phone to around 7.34mm, making it the thinnest Reno series phone ever.

Available in two color finishes, Reno8 Pro is further inspired by porcelain enamel techniques. The two colors currently available are Glazed Green and Glazed Black.
