What idea did you start from for the design of Parenthesis?

“The brief was born from Caleido's desire to create a radiator with extruded aluminum profiles, using a new technology that would allow the creation of a design with vertical development. The initial challenge was to conceive a contemporary and functional product, which had small dimensions and a low environmental impact, combining the values ​​of the brand, ambassador of Made in Italy in the world, and the style of our studio. The idea that then guided the whole process was to work on a modular system, consisting of several pieces that could be assembled according to needs ".

The investigation of shapes marries an idea of ​​a contemporary home ...

“The continuous investigation of shapes, materials and finishes has always been one of the cornerstones of my design in the Studio. I chose to work on a simple element, with a design that did not just develop parallel to the wall, but that outlined an elegant and essential rhythm. The forms of Parenthesis recall the shape precisely of a parenthesis, alluding to the idea of ​​movement in its pure but dynamic form, with sinuous and refined lines ".

The radiator market is now large: what does Parentesi add to the offer?

“Parenthesis twists and reinterprets the very concept of a radiator in the traditional sense: a static and preconfigured object. One aspect that distinguishes it is in fact the modularity, which allows the product to integrate into the home, residential, public or private environment, depending on the needs of the end user. The combination and composition of several pieces allows this radiator to perform multiple functions at the same time, maintaining the original heating one and becoming, if necessary, a shelf and support surface if positioned horizontally, a bathroom towel holder and support for various hangers thanks to the concave shapes in which be able to insert the different accessories. In addition, Parenthesis is extremely customizable, a fundamental quality in today's market: it is available in both electric and hydraulic versions and with a low water content, in different sizes and finishes in all colors of the Caleido RAL range.
