At the latest Salone del Mobile in Milan, Frattini presented novelties touching on different fields: the energy of change is the common feature

The simplicity of elegance and a vision respectful of the company's history, but constantly looking to the future, underpin two important Frattini projects: the Enea collection of single-lever mixers and the new logo that replaces the more complex and articulated one used since 1990.

Proportions and curves

The first significant virtue of the Enea collection, designed by the Bellucci Mazzoni Progetti, is its attention to consumption: a special energy-saving cartridge reduces water consumption to 6 litres per minute. Made of chrome-plated brass, Enea faucets, with their sleek, graphic proportions, stand out for their flat water spout and slim control lever that engages in the cylindrical body with a gentle wave-like movement. For the washbasin, six different models are available: three with different heights, the scenic freestanding washbasin mixer (114.7 cm high) and two wall-mounted solutions.

Bathtub or shower?

Enea's version for the floor-standing bathtub is a true sculpture, measuring 105.8 cm in height, with a slender 19.7 cm spout, minimalist hand shower and large flexible hose attached directly to the tap holder. This is the ideal solution for a dramatic bathroom, combined with a freestanding bathtub, the star of the room. The numerous shower solutions, finally, make it possible to customise the space to the utmost: 2 or 3-way recessed versions are available combined with ceiling or wall-mounted shower heads as well as functional and aesthetic solutions with free positioning of the opening and closing controls.

Colours and finishes

Completing the collection is a palette of eight colours and finishes to help designers and specifiers create the ambience that best suits the style of the home. In addition to chrome and stainless steel finishes, you can choose Enea faucets in black chrome, rose gold, gold, antique rose gold, antique gold and brushed black chrome.

Achievements should be celebrated

F for Frattini, but above all for family, trust and future. The rebranding that the company presented this year was born out of a desire to publicly share the evolution (and revolution) underway. The new chapter in the company's history, born in 1958, sees the second generation at the helm. Today, in fact, the president is Giuseppino Frattini, who has taken over from the founders, brothers Benito and Pierluigi, and is still a valuable advisor to grandchildren Gloria and Maurizio and daughters Michela and Francesca. The letter F, the protagonist of the new lettering, clean, reassuring and contemporary, makes one imagine the silhouette of a tap.

‘Frattini, taps since 1958’

Michela Frattini, the company's marketing manager, elaborates on the importance of the logo and pay-off rebranding operation: ‘The new logo was conceived not just as a surname, but as a tap; in fact, the new identity declares Frattini's leadership position that has been able to transform its historicity into value. Logo and pay-off express the strength of genuineness through the choice of reassuring yet surprising lettering. The result is a contemporary reading of the brand, capable of communicating all the values on which its history is founded: future, trust and family.
