Pioggia, Brina, Neve, Ghiaccio: craftsmanship in woodworking characterizes the series designed by Piero Lissoni

Furniture culture as a family heritage, formal cleanliness, geometric shapes and functionality have allowed Porro to conquer the international market without betraying its origins. From this premise, the series designed by Piero Lissoni was born in which geometric rigor and craftsmanship in woodworking are the common thread that binds the upholstered chair Pioggia, the stool Brina, the chair Neve, the chair Ghiaccio: the same design idea declined on different scales to give life to one of the most recognizable series of the Brianza company.

For dining, work and contract areas

Ideal for the dining room, work spaces, contract contexts, Pioggia has a solid ash structure (black, red, white or natural stained), with visible tapered legs, which interact with the soft lines of the upholstered seat covered in fabric , handcrafted leather or eco-leather. Customizable thanks to the mix of upholstery fabrics and the wide range of finishes of the structure.

A stool for two heights

The Brina stool was born as a high declination of the Neve chair. It is available in two heights: for breakfast counter in the kitchen or reception / bar area in the contract sector. The slightly inclined tapered legs, the low curved backrest and the suspended seat in solid ash reveal the company's savoir-faire in woodworking. Structure and seat are available in solid natural ash, black, red or white stained.

Rigorous and soft

Sitting with rigorous but soft lines, Neve reinterprets the classic wooden chair in a contemporary key. The support structure (in solid natural ash wood stained black, red or white) is characterized by the tracing of sharp lines of different thicknesses, slightly inclined, while the roundness of the spindle legs and the slight curvature of the backrest and seat (also available in leather or eco-leather) soften the shapes. Available in versions with and without armrests and with upholstered seat and back.

From Neve to Ghiaccio

Low and comfortable armchair, characterized by a fabric cushion, Ghiaccio was born from the success of the Neve chair, taking up its contours. The rounded lines of the turned legs in solid ash follow the curvature of the backrest and armrests, approaching the more regular pattern of the padded seat. The structure is in solid natural ash, black, red or white stained. Seat and back available in fabric, leather or eco-leather.
