The new porcelain stoneware collection is inspired by the materiality of a precious and refined essence

When ceramics allow themselves to be seduced by wood, experiments and designs can be born that redefine the concept of wooden surfaces. Rare and precious woods and warm shades, declined in a palette of bright colours, interpret the thousand facets of a natural material par excellence, wood, giving life to interesting design solutions in porcelain stoneware. Casalgrande Padana proposes Project Wood, a collection created in collaboration with the architecture studio SBGA Blengini Ghiradelli.

Refined materiality

Beech, one of the best-known and most appreciated essences, lives again in the refined materiality and tactile sensations that enhance the veining and texture of the porcelain stoneware staves of Project Wood by Casalgrande Padana, designed to create warm and welcoming environments capable of satisfying any furnishing style.

Nuances, formats and thicknesses

Born from the search for a long-lasting and eco-sustainable product, the new Project Wood collection by Casalgrande Padana is available in five nuances (Mesola, Migliarino, Paneveggio, Pollino and Quarto), in the 20x120 cm size, 9 mm thick, with a natural and grip surface, and in the 40x120 cm size, 20 mm thick, with a non-slip surface for outdoor use. The 20 mm thickness allows outdoor laying either with adhesive on screed for covering balconies, patios, terraces, verandas or swimming pool edges, or dry laying on grass, gravel or sand.

Indoor and outdoor meet

Casalgrande Padana's proposal, in line with current trends, makes it possible to expand indoor environments towards the outdoors, creating coordinated furnishing solutions and increasing the practicality and comfort of any living space, all year round.

For residential and contract

Project Wood guarantees the durability and resistance (to impact, abrasion, bending and stains) typical of porcelain stoneware, making it the ideal solution for indoor and outdoor floor and wall coverings, in residential spaces or public contexts, in projects in the contract, hospitality and wellness worlds.

Absorbent and antibacterial surfaces

Like all Casalgrande Padana collections, Project Wood is characterised by being non-absorbent, antibacterial (thanks to the Bios Antibacterial® technology available upon request), eco-friendly, fireproof, easy to lay and clean. It is not affected by changes in temperature and does not deform, guaranteeing a high level of resistance that makes it unalterable over time.
