Custom Line 106’, a yacht that darts across the water, born to be in contact with the open air, defined by a functional design: a perfect mix between aesthetics and innovation

Art and architecture, design and performance have perhaps never been so close on the water as in the new Custom Line 106’, the second example of a new series of yachts designed for the Ferretti Group brands by Francesco Paszkowski Design.

With 32.82 meters overall length and its powerful, streamlined profile, the Custom Line 106’ can glide over the water at 23 knots.

Its interesting concept is devoted to contact with the sea in style. Crisp lines run from stern to bow creating a perfectly balanced material and chromatic patterning, with the bright structural surfaces of the hull alternating with the dark voids of the windows that become floor-to-ceiling glazing on the deck. “It’s a yacht with a functional design, which offers the maximum in terms of comfort, space, safety and seaworthiness. It is tailor-made with the complete customization of all interior fittings and decorative elements to suit the tastes and needs of the owner,” says Stefano de Vivo, CCO Ferretti Group. “Its sporting qualities are secured by its rational, dynamic lines, features that identify Custom Line’s new planing generation.”

The strong point of the Custom Line 106’ are its generous volumes and the way they are exploited. The interior has the feel of a seaside villa, without ever letting you forget you are aboard a yacht. A large glass door gives access to the internal open space of 40 m2 from the cockpit, with heights of more than 2 meters, laid out as the living and dining areas in succession. Lacquered ceilings are combined with the warmth of flamed oak floors and walls and the glossy ebony of the custom-made furniture that alternates with furnishings by Minotti and Poliform. Everywhere contemporary artworks embellish the rooms. In the master suite the dominant mood is repeated in the living area and the guest cabins.

A yacht devoted to contact with nature, it offers no less than 220 square meters of floor space. Moreover this first unit has a splendid panoramic terrace in the master suite that develops over the sea to the fore forming a completely private outdoor space. The flybridge, a large terrace open to the sky, a space of 53 square meters, protected by two large side windows, is fully furnished with Minotti’s freestanding designer pieces. Finally, the 36 square meters of external space at the bow is a magnificent functional zone divided into three separate and independent areas.”

“The new Custom Line 106’ has been created to renew the planing yacht line. The interiors are styled in collaboration with Margherita Casprini. The whole design is therefore a perfect harmony between indoor and outdoor spaces, on which great stress is laid in this project, to enhance the contact with the sea. The circulation flows are outstanding, being fluid and circular. The exterior design embodies stylistic elements from motoring, while the interiors are characterized by decorative choices from the residential world” Francesco Paszkowski Design.
