Inside Urban Stories, the Watercolors exhibit by Diego Grandi in collaboration with Oikos, Platek Light and Zucchetti.Kos. Basins of water bring unexpected colors and an enigmatic answer to the question: what color is water?   Amidst the new skyscrapers of the former Varesine area, Michele De Lucchi, Diego Grandi and Kengo Kuma ‘narrated’ their Urban Stories. With the installation “Paesaggio fa rima con saggio” Michele De Lucchi reconstructed an imaginary scenario with tall, ephemeral yet powerful towers surrounded by vats suspended in the air, transformed into metaphysical clouds. In collaboration with Kaldewei, Oikos, Platek Light and Vaselli.
Studio Pepe did the windows of the Spotti showroom with the evergreen furnishings of USM, demonstrating their potential to furnish home office spaces.   Zanotta, for Maserati, created the first coproduced lounge chair. Design by Ludovica & Roberto Palomba, to transpose the harmonious, supple lines of the Maserati Quattroporte and the shared values of exclusivity, refinement, comfort and high quality of materials.
The exhibition Polska.Nasz Design set up in the Cubo space at Frigoriferi Milanesi. One outstanding installation was Caballeros and Stars, the research project on natural materials by the Polish designer Dorota Koziara, with the goal of keeping certain kinds of crafts alive.   Rem Koolhaas, the head of the OMA studio, during the presentation of the collection.
At the Prada space on Via Fogazzaro, the new Tools for Life collection of twelve pieces designed by OMA for Knoll, with the goal of stimulating communication, socializing and interaction in the workplace.
