The restoration and reconfiguration project...

The importance is given by the conservative restoration and the reconfiguration of an enormous complex of extraordinary historical importance , on which also Jacopo Sansovino worked from 1529 to 1538 - 152 meters long, 50 arches and 100 ovoid windows on the third floor on the square - which, at the time of the Serenissima Republic, housed the Procurators of San Marco (also active in assisting the needy) and represented the political power of the Doge. But not only.

... but also the opening, after 500 years, to the city

To emphasize the historical significance of the day, the Procuratie, where Generali have re-established their private offices at the first and second level, open, at the third, for the first time in 500 years, to the public and to the city.

The Human Safety Net

The entire third floor, reorganized in terms of accessibility and usability of the interior space, has become the home of The Human Safety Net (Thsn), the foundation of the Group which aims to unlock the potential of vulnerable people, especially families, children and refugees, to improve their living conditions. A global hub for social initiatives , which includes work spaces also in coworking, rest areas and exhibition paths.

The interior design project

The artistic direction of the third floor is curated by Davide Rampello/Rampello & amp; Partners , interior design, layout, graphics and multimedia from Migliore+Servetto Architects.

Exhibitions...

The third floor houses the exhibition A World of Potential, curated by Orna Cohen of Dialogue Social Enterprise, and also the one reserved for works of the Atelier dell'Errore BIG.

... and installations

At the other end of the floor, The Hall is the new auditorium that will host congresses and events. The inauguration of the Procuratie was enriched by the installation of Edoardo Tresoldi, Monumento (Monument): a column positioned in the center of the space around which it develops the monumental staircase of the Procuratie which integrates in continuity with the new one on the third level to give access to both the elevated courtyards and the exhibition spaces open to the public of The Human Safety Net.

An extensive study dedicated to the project of the new Procuratie Vecchie in Piazza San Marco in Venice will be published on Interni Maggio.
