The charm of 17th century France, revisited in a contemporary key: Ritmonio design solutions embellish the charming residence Sessius1662

Classical architecture and modern and contemporary architectural styles: is coexistence possible? It is all a question of respect and sensitivity. Coexistence can certainly be considered by integrating traditional elements with a more contemporary design, creating environments that respect the historical and cultural heritage while meeting contemporary needs. Many architects today are inspired by classical forms and proportions, reinterpreting them in a modern way. In addition, the use of innovative materials and cutting-edge technologies can enrich classic aesthetics, leading to unique and interesting results. Witness the spaces of Sessius1662 embellished with Ritmonio solutions.

Sensitivity and respect

The key to harmonious coexistence lies in the designer's sensitivity and respect for the historical and cultural context. Sessius1662 is a charming residence in Cessy, between France and Switzerland: an ancient manor house that preserves the imprint of 17th-century French classicism (the building's origins date back to 1662, as its name tells us), with an elegant contemporary look. A place dedicated to hospitality, where past and present merge, enhancing each other in the revisited architecture.

Cosmopolitan style

The design intervention pays great attention to historical aspects, restoring the international and cosmopolitan style desired by the client. One example? Contemporary architectural elements embellish all the rooms, making it a distinctive design-driven boutique hotel. Guests can admire pieces from the property's private collection: an excursus through time among the greatest masters of architecture: Carlo Scarpa, Jean Nouvel, Zaha Hadid, Giò Ponti, Louis Pulsen.

Five suites and an independent loft

Arranged on three floors, with a total area of 400 square metres, the structure consists of common areas such as a kitchen, dining room, living room and outdoor space ideal for relaxing in the open air. Five master suites enrich the architecture, to which an independent loft is added.

A versatile collection

Ritmonio has contributed with solutions for the bathroom. The iconic Diametro35 series, in the Inox version, a symbol of Made in Italy worldwide, reveals all its versatility, fitting harmoniously into the architecture of Sessius1662, balancing classicism and modernity.

Wide range of solutions

Thanks to the range of solutions with different installation possibilities, Diametro35 Inox proved to be the consistent choice for an original, comfortable and stately architecture such as the French manor house. With the Ritmonio style, design becomes a decisive factor in the well-being of guests.
