When the bathroom becomes a choreography. On the one hand, the design: minimalist, innovative, capable of sculpting an idea of contemporary comfort. On the other hand, its communication: creative, joyful. It is by the author.
Superplan Zero, the new floor-level shower tray in Kaldewei enamelled steel, signed by the Berlin-based designer Werner Aisslinger and immortalized in a series of shots by Bryan Adams, is a beautiful story. The rocker, who is living a second youth with photography and had already collaborated with Kaldewei for the Natural Union campaign dedicated to washbasins, this time interpreted the small wellness revolution brought to the bathroom by Kaldewei with the choreography of four dancers which, instead of treading a stage, move on the enameled surface of a shower tray. To remind us of what the bathroom should always be: well-being, sensuality and, why not, irony.
But let's start from the beginning. Superplan Zero is a floor-level shower tray in enamelled steel, with a refined, practical and sustainable design. The name tells its essence, which is that of a plate without thresholds, the result of a new patented production process. Accessible from three sides without thresholds, the minimal thickness shower tray becomes one with the floor and, thanks to the sharp edges and narrow radii of curvature, allows installation with reduced joints. The drain, particularly close to the wall, and the uniform slope guarantee a flat surface at every point, thus ensuring maximum comfort and safety in movements. Made of enamelled steel, Superplan Zero is 100 percent recyclable. The vitrified surface applied to the steel gives refinement to the whole.
Donata Donzelli, Kaldewei Italia sales director, puts together the prerogatives of this creation that enhances the know-how of the only company producing bathtubs, shower trays and washbasins that produces enamel internally, following a patented procedure: "Aesthetically beautiful and absolutely functional , the floor-level shower trays are now a classic in our range and in the contemporary bathroom in general. Not only that, in addition to being particularly comfortable and easy to clean, they break down any architectural barrier and are also ideal for elderly people or people with walking difficulties. A perfect match between design and function, these products are capable of expressing Kaldewei quality and style in the best possible way. Superplan Zero combines the aesthetic characteristics desired by the designer with the most rigorous technical and regulatory standards with great balance in order to always guarantee the correct flow of water. The quality of the design, followed by proper installation, whether it is for new buildings or renovations, is therefore crucial to ensure the functionality of a shower tray flush with the floor over time and safety in use ".
The collaboration with Bryan Adams was born to enhance the refined elegance that characterizes Superplan Zero. The steps portrayed by the musician and photographer are those of the Canadian choreographer Eric Gauthier, the dancers Arielle Martin, Tatiana Martinez and the soloist Federico Spallitta, which Adams captures in a series of expressive, sensual and carefree movements. How our movements in the shower are, or should always be.
