The Color Collection's all-round sleep and relaxation solutions

The the living area of the home is the area that has changed its structure and function the most over time, becoming the space in which to dare with colour or to recreate a personal and customised environment, punctuated with eclectic furnishings, refined solutions and designer pieces. The sleeping area, which has gone from being the sacred place of sleep to the cradle of relaxation and all-round serenity, has maintained instead its original function over the years: that of a sober environment with few furnishing elements, aimed at relaxation and maximum comfort.

The choice of finishes

A refuge and a space to abandon oneself completely, the bedroom is an environment where nothing is improvised, including the choice of finishes. After all, we are talking about the space where our days begin and end, the environment that imprints itself like a mark on our memory and accompanies us throughout the day.

Textural effects

Starting with the three technical resin wall coverings Wallpaper, Patina and Wallcrete from the Color Collection proposal, ideal for bathrooms and kitchens, Kerakoll has added the decorative Living finish, suitable for the walls of all other rooms, such as living and sleeping areas. The three surfaces can be placed in scale, for textural effect: Wallpaper Living is ultra-smooth and silky to the touch, Patina Living has ripples and textural vibrations, Wallcrete Living has more accentuated irregularities resulting from hand-made workmanship.

150 exclusive shades

All surfaces are available in the 150 sophisticated and unique shades of the Color Collection, to play with the palette in the living and sleeping areas of the home. The living room and kitchen often form a fluid environment, one between open and semi-open spaces, thanks also to the skilful choice of colours. Especially in the bedroom, the importance of opting for the right shades, which influence the mood, define the furnishings and frame the details, becomes apparent.

Connecting past and future

A perfect example of the skilful use of Colour Collection is in the photos illustrating the renovation of a former factory in Spain, transformed into a family residence. Linking past and future was the main objective of the project, which re-functionalised an early 20th century building into a domestic space, thanks also to the choice of colours and surfaces. In the living room, the environment is defined by the smooth, matt Wallpaper Living KK 126 finish on the walls and the particularly versatile Microresina Floor KK 131 on the floor.

Muted palettes

The Neutral Pink and Rose Pink palettes, with their muted tones, accentuate the brightness of the rooms and dialogue with the historic architecture, offering a sense of simplicity and minimalism. The curves and decoration of the vaulted ceilings are enhanced by the discreet use of pastel shades. A monochromatic effect permeates the entire house, from the functional kitchen to the bedrooms with their essential, almost monastic language.
