Noctambule, designed by Konstantin Grcic for Flos, selected for the ADI Design Index 2020

The ethereal collection of Noctambule modular lamps, designed for Flos by Konstantin Grcic in 2019, has been included in the product selection of ADI Design Index 2020, winning a place among the best design creations that will compete for the 27th Compasso D'Oro.

In Noctambule, the tradition of blown glass is combined with LED technology, giving life to a real sculpture of light. During the day, thanks to their transparencies, the lamps are almost invisible. They come to life at night, generating luminous verticality from the floor and ceiling, with the cylindrical modules in blown glass interconnected thanks to thin rings of light.

The elements of the collection can be completed with domed or cone heads, thus creating a majestic column of light capable of personalizing even the most particular environments.

The collaboration between Grcic and Flos continues; two are in fact the lamps that have obtained the most authoritative design award in the world: Mayday, awarded in 2001, and OK awarded in 2016.
