Design, innovation and high performance, enclosed in 72 feet of length, are the expression of the great construction experience of the Forlì shipyard. For a yacht with an all-Italian flavour

An all-Italian team is behind the new GS 72, the perfect design synthesis of the already rich and appreciated family Grand Soleil.

Design, innovation and high performance are enclosed in 23.75 m in length, an expression of the great construction experience of Grand Soleil, the Cantiere del Pardo (which this year celebrates 50 years of activity) which demonstrates with each launch that it develops innovative solutions that are ever more attentive to sustainability and energy efficiency.

The design team is made up of professionals who are Italian excellence in the international nautical sector: Matteo Polli, a designer with extensive experience in optimizing racing boats, engaged in naval architecture; Marco Lostuzzi developed the structures starting from skills that are highly appreciated on numerous models of the Shipyard; Nauta Design, the renowned and prestigious Milanese studio with an in-depth vision of yacht design, designed the general layout, deck and interior design.

GS 72 is a boat with very generous volumes which guarantee comfort on board and hospitality. The exterior design is defined by soft, clean and elegant shapes combined with water lines and a hull that communicate a strong propensity to sail with high performance thanks to a reduced wetted surface.

Great attention is also paid to the ergonomics on board: a characteristic of all Grand Soleil boats, which makes them extremely easy to use and cruises in safety.

The deck is characterized by a deck with an elegant yet sporty design, with a large navigation area with the ergonomics and comfort of a luxury sports yacht. A large cockpit houses two tables that can be used separately, and a relaxation area is set up with two large sundecks.

The interior layout, according to the usual and appreciated signature Nauta Design, is in line with the geometries of the deck, in which every little detail has been designed to obtain a harmonious and holistic project.

“In conceiving the interior layout, the experience gained on many projects carried out on high-performance hulls has led us to integrate spacious interiors, with two layout solutions,” says Massimo Gino co-founder of Nauta Design.

“They are rich and bright interiors, which instill that feeling of peace, serenity, physical and mental freedom that we always want to convey with our design. Both inside and outside, the goal is to keep man's connection with the sea constant".

In any environment, the quality, dimensions, ergonomics and functions are equal to those found on board larger sailing ships.

The stylistic figure is towards a sober style, fresh and welcoming. Like the other models of the brand, GS72 is offered with two layouts, Performance and Long Cruise (the latter will be visible in world preview at the Cannes Yachting Festival), both with the owner's cabin forward and with two different solutions for the galley aft or forward of the saloon and different layouts for the guest (4 with 4 bathrooms) and crew cabins.
