The Florentine studio aims at innovation and sustainability with extraordinary, personalized and highly crafted projects. A surprising journey that explores the boundaries between sea and land, redefining the concept of luxury

Four thousand two hundred and eighty eight meters is a truly important measurement. It is almost as high as Mont Blanc. But it is also the total length of the yachts designed by Luca Dini in 28 years of activity.

There are over 100 custom superyachts sailing that bear his signature since he founded his studio in 1996 in the heart of Florence, a timeless place of maximum inspiration where the high expression of craftsmanship combines with age-old traditions and the richness of Renaissance art. Superyachts with innovative aesthetic lines, custom projects both in the interiors and exteriors, are born to give life to the desires of the owners.

Thirty years of experience in the luxury yachting industry have allowed Luca Dini and his team to migrate to other areas of design and bring innovative and cutting-edge concepts to architecture and urban design, through original solutions with particular attention to detail and using unique materials as only bespoke yachting teaches.

The design landscape that has increasingly expanded over time is managed by a team of over 70 professionals: architects, yacht designers, interior designers, naval and civil engineers, textile and furniture designers and 3D animators. A team of experts who transform visionary ideas into ambitious projects with an ever new, different and unique style.

“We avoid setting limits, so that every project can be a form of art”, comments the Tuscan designer, “We create, design and define spaces in harmony with the surrounding environment, where respect and appreciation are no longer an illusion or an imagination, but are equivalent to the function and aesthetics of a real urban landscape”.

From small tenders to gigayachts, villas and masterplans of thousands of square meters in various parts of the world: projects that are born with the aim of surprising and exciting, where technology merges with the charm of artisan tradition, giving shape to a new interpretation of innovation. “This interpretation transcends new forms and shows new solutions and materials, thanks to our experience in a world that loves novelties,” explains Dini.

The common thread running through all the projects is the sea. “In 30 years we have learned to understand the tastes, desires and lifestyle of high-profile clients, the same clients who dock their yachts in the most prestigious marinas. We want the landing places to come to life, to welcome those who arrive and to become meeting places, not just places of passage, or worse, “parking””, explains the founder of LUCA DINI Design & Architecture.

“Just as we adapt yachts to their owners, we apply the same personalized approach to our architectural projects, with a focus on sustainability. We cannot ignore the impact of our choices on the world we will leave to future generations.

In designing Sindalah (master plan for an entire island that is being created in the Red Sea by the Florentine studio, ed.), we have worked hard. This commitment is reflected in the careful selection of materials and mechanisms, to ensure they meet the highest standards of eco-friendliness without compromising luxury.”
