The second unit of this 35 meter line recalls the concept of an island surrounded by the sea, with intimate interiors and a strong connection with nature

The project of Maiora 35 Exuma is a harmonious and deliberately inspired by nature project. “The idea was to recall the concept of an island surrounded by the sea”, explains GiacomoBenelli, commercial director of the group.

Designed entirely by the Tuscan shipyard with the close collaboration of its owners, Pesa II is the second unit of this line, characterized by organic shapes, warm materials and highly tactile and contrasting elements.

35 meters long with a width of 7.9 meters, externally it stands out with clean external lines, a straight bow and a totally open stern. The innovative design is combined with a latest generation propulsion system: three waterjets driven by three 2000HP MTU engines allow the Maiora 35 Exuma to reach up to 35 knots of maximum speed with reduced consumption and emissions.

Once on board, emotional contact with the sea is guaranteed everywhere. Efficient and rational architectural solutions enhance the liveability of all spaces. Large floor-to-ceiling windows in the main deck lounge, in the owner's suite and also in the guest cabins on the lower deck, allow for airy and bright interiors.

And the connection with nature is total, thanks to glass doors that open out towards the stern on the two decks, creating immense in-and-out spaces.

Like on the upper deck where the internal lounge of 47 square meters overlooks a terrace, transforming if necessary into a single open air area of 130 square metres: the infinity door at the stern of the lounge opens opens completely, two side windows that lower, and the roof opens completely, revealing a "moon-roof" perfect for dinners under the stars.

The interiors are tailor-made for the owner: environments in coherence with the surrounding environment thanks to furnishings made with natural materials, such as wood and recycled elements.

“The constant presence of the owner in all phases of the project's development allowed us to perfect every single detail,” explains one of Maiora's interior designers, “the need to create very shapes complexled us to seek new construction solutions and, sometimes, to return to traditional woodworking techniques".

The owner, who has experience in the creation of villas, hotels, restaurants and previous interior design projects, directly participated in all phases of the project. Formal coherence everywhere in which the skilful use of a warm and intimate palette combines with the rounded and organically geometric shapes of the personalized furnishings, such as the seats, duly proportioned and sized to the physical characteristics of the owner, or the functional arrangement of light points, up to the optimization of spaces.
