The two protagonists of the new collection of AlphaTauri are a trench for her and for him is a 'Commuter Jacket', the hyper-technical unisex jacket. Also for this drop technology is the master, in a mixture of style and avant-garde design.

Wearable technology

In addition to the novelty regarding the garment itself, both the jacket and the trench coat presented feature an evolution of the technology that distinguishes the AlphaTauri Heatable Capsule Collection 2.0. From the app connected to the garment you can start the heating function, as for version 1.0, in the 'Pulse' and 'modes Intense' already existing. But in addition, starting this year, it will also be possible to define a nominal temperature (eg. 22 ° C), which can automatically be set as a fixed input.

There is also the unprecedented possibility of starting the heating alternately between the activated areas, then the front pockets and the lumbar areas. In this way the heating pulse will not be fixed but intermittent according to the chosen settings.

Two performing garments

Keeping the promise of combining performance and style, the trench in the two versions for her and for him features refined lines and casual style at the same time: a single-breasted jacket with hidden buttoning, available in black and suitable for free time as well as for the most elegant situations of everyday life. The technicality of the garment is reflected in the use of a water-repellent functional material, produced with an lining internal insulating cork: in this way only one a small part of the heat stored in the Lavalan wool padding will tend to escape from the garment.

Extremely technical and functional, the Commuter Jacket is instead characterized by a stowable hood, a folding splash guard, a back pocket in jersey and extendable cuffs with design ergonomic. Available in dark gray, it is completed by a reflective technology that guarantees better visibility in the dark.

Available from autumn 2022

Like the previous ones, the two new items will take place in the hyper-contemporary Heatable Capsule Collection 2.0 - the line launched by the brand in 2020 with the collaboration of Deutsche Telekom and Schoeller Textil AG.

They will therefore complement the models presented in HCC 1.0: a bomber and a vest, designed for both men and women, available in light gray and navy blue.

For the realization of the project, the collaboration between the three realities proves to be complementary: AlphaTauri is responsible for the development of the product and the design of the collections, Deutsche Telekom for the technology, including the app, and Schoeller Textil AG takes care of the E-Soft-Shell heating technology and all the fabrics used for the production of the garments.
