Gaia is Arredo3's first eco-sustainable set-up and allows you to incorporate eco-friendly or recycled materials in some of the kitchen models in the catalogue, so you can create a kitchen with a low environmental impact

Arredo3 presents Gaia, the first eco-sustainable installation made with eco-friendly or recycled materials, protagonist of Design Week 2022. For the occasion, in the brand's showroom in via Solferino, some elements of Gaia are included in the new version of the Tratto_10 kitchen model: the composition on display features recycled PET Amazzonia doors, Teca Millerighe wall units and black aluminium handles.

A green path

Arredo3's mission has always focused on the production of designer kitchens made in Italy, with high technological and quality standards, a winning choice thanks to a mix of practicality, accessibility and sustainability. A great success achieved with significant investments in research and development and with a multi-year path aimed at minimising the environmental impact of its production through energy saving, the choice of recycled and eco-sustainable materials, and initiatives in favour of the environment. Gaia, made of eco-friendly, recycled and sustainable materials, is Arredo3's first display that was created to offer solutions that respect nature, in line with the company's evolution towards a green path.

The product life cycle

The Gaia set-up brings together all elements made of recycled and recyclable materials and is designed for a conscious public, attentive to quality and design, and sensitive to issues of safeguarding the planet, thus offering an opportunity to reflect on the product's life cycle. For example, the Gaia doors are made of recycled Pet applied to a wood panel that is also recycled. The veneer of the beams is composed of post-consumer recycled beams (also interesting from an aesthetic point of view, because it makes each piece unique). The glass and aluminium of the doors are recyclable: in particular, aluminium is an infinitely recyclable material that always retains its qualities, and is also the material of choice for the handles, for the structures of the Rubik and Open open complements, as well as the Modus equipped channels and some tables.

Resistant and beautiful materials

The compositions of Arredo3 kitchens with Gaia outfitting are made with elements that come from recycled and recyclable materials such as the Pet door, panels in recycled wood particles, and tops in sustainably produced ceramic materials such as Laminam or Abitum. Today, sustainable materials also have excellent resistance characteristics, as well as being available in sophisticated finishes that do not detract from the pleasantness and beauty of the surfaces. As with all Arredo3 models, each Gaia fitted kitchen is made to suit the customer's real needs in order to adapt to any space and design style while respecting the environment.

Sustainable living

Arredo3, with its new Gaia display, makes a concrete contribution to spreading awareness in the choice of environmentally friendly products, proposing an environmentally friendly kitchen furniture system. The brand's commitment has been amplified with the intention of responding collaboratively to the Agenda 2030 programme for sustainable development signed by the UN countries. A commitment that not only concerns production choices, but also represents a concrete contribution aimed at raising the awareness of its customers, who are attentive to quality and design but increasingly to environmental issues, to enhance a sustainable way of life starting with ecological choices even in the kitchen.
