Total well-being is built by designing functionality and aesthetics, also and above all when it comes to technology. Not a foregone conclusion, as Paolo Caimi, Marketing Manager Italy of Hitachi Cooling & Heating, tells us

New technologies can help you live better and respect the environment. We spoke to Paolo Caimi, Marketing Manager Italy of Hitachi Cooling & Heating about this issue, increasingly higher on the residential and contract agenda.

What are the needs of the contract world?

The Contract sector must know how to combine the creation of environments with a certain aesthetic and functional to the well-being and comfort of both those who experience the space as a work environment and potential visitors. It is within the project as a whole that the customer perceives the value of the brand as a distinctive.

To ensure quality and comfort, without having to interfere with the creativity of the project, Hitachi Cooling & Heating provides a network of technical-commercial specialists who offer consultancy support to contractors and installers to facilitate the best choice, both in the initial and ongoing stages. We have endless solutions to choose from because we believe that quality should not be reserved only for important budgets. A space where great attention has been paid to comfort, pleasantly air-conditioned and quiet, improves daily life and productivity. With this idea, we have introduced a design product to our range: the Cassette 4-vie Silent-IconicTM which represents the best alternative to traditional ducted systems. Easier to install, Silent-IconicTM is designed to ensure optimal air distribution and a consequent high level of comfort, as well as blending completely with the environment in which it is inserted thanks to a truly unique design.

Our technological evolution responds more and more concretely to principles of sustainability: this is why we have chosen environmentally friendly refrigerants and to innovate with technologies that reduce electricity consumption while also improving performance."

Your products are constantly evolving. Can you tell us what aspects you are working on?

In the Hitachi mission, well-being and harmony are fundamental values. This is where the drive towards a new aesthetic and design evolution comes from, and I am pleased to underline how crucial the contribution of Hitachi Cooling & Heating Italia has been in this direction. Design innovation offers a fundamental new stimulus to meet the needs of our customers, but it is not the only aspect on which Hitachi Cooling & Heating focuses. Our technological evolution responds more and more concretely to principles of sustainability: this is why we have chosen environmentally friendly refrigerants and to innovate with technologies that reduce electricity consumption while also improving performance. Another development direction is that of new control systems that wink at home automation, and in the coming months the presentation of new products dedicated to the tertiary sector is expected to guarantee a further qualitative leap for the well-being of users.

Can you explain in detail what new technologies you are using and what advantages do they have over the others?

New technologies, which respond to the need to find solutions that have less and less impact on the environment, have allowed us to develop products that, in the face of a smaller amount of refrigerant used, are able to cool and heat more efficiently. Many of our heat pump systems today maintain the same nominal output even at external temperatures of -15 ° C, dispelling the idea that these solutions are not suitable even for the most severe climates. Furthermore, the new systems communicate better and better with new technologies, such as home assistants. One of the functions of our airCloud Home app allows the air conditioning to be turned on shortly before our return home, simply because it recognizes our presence nearby. In our offer for the home, we also offer systems capable of conditioning, heating and producing domestic hot water with low consumption, using only electricity for this, without having to resort to methane gas.The market is increasingly attentive to these aspects and our mission is to continue designing systems that allow us to live in harmony with the environment.
