An immersive and connective space brings the public into contact with architecture and storytelling. The installation designed by Mario Cucinella aims to accompany visitors through a visual narrative of the history of the famous Milanese company with a tribute to the world of Ernesto Gismondi, founder of the Gruppo Artemide, who passed away in 2020. Values, design culture, research, know-how, iconic products, innovative projects, lasting encounters and partnerships: a network of creative connections through which Artemide has interpreted light for over sixty years. A hundred ‘cards’ made of recyclable material give rise to a modular architecture in which the pieces, representing memories, intersect with each other to form a great installation that rises in height to form a tower. A red light, evoking the emblem and heart of Ernesto Gismondi, envelops the viewers, who will be able to immerse themselves in the work, discovering Artemide’s design philosophy. The installation is a sustainable project, designed to be mobile and reconfigurable. It will continue to tell the story of Artemide in other places and times.
