The Visionnaire flagship store, in Piazza Cavour 3, in the heart of the Brera Design District, does not miss the appointment with the FuoriSalone 2021 (and not even the one with the Supersalone, to which it has been loyal for 60 years) with two capsule collections signed by eclectic creative director of Clan Milano, Alessandro La Spada, and m2atelier, the international architecture and design studio founded in Milan by Marjana Radovic and Marco Bonelli.
Also for Visionnaire, the brand born in Bologna in 1959 and today directed by Eleonore Cavalli, for some years the common thread of the various productions has been sustainability, from recycling to the recovery of materials.
For this reason, all the projects for Milan Design Week 2021 were born with a carbon neutral and plastic free perspective, and the CO2 emissions produced during the September events will be offset by carbon credits (VCS certificates) generated by a reforestation project carried out. in Brazil, in South Mato Grosso, and recognized by the United Nations.
Alessandro La Spada has designed Babylon Rack, not a simple sofa but a mini modular architecture equipped with a reading lamp and coffee table. Instead, Caprice, the capsule collection by m2atelier, also suitable for outdoor use, speaks of vacation and vitality, represented by nine new products in the Insulae installation of the Visionnaire Design Gallery.
While the Wunderkammer - the art gallery within the same design gallery - is currently hosting Sedimento, a site specific installation of vases created by Bottega Ceramica Gatti 1928 curated by Marco Morandini and Andrea Anastasio (curator and artistic director of the Gatti ceramic art workshop).
Finally, not to be missed, inside the former military area in the Inganni district (suggestive construction of the 1930s invaded by the urban forest that this year hosts Alcova, the collective exhibition curated by Joseph Grima and Valentina Ciuffi), the installation De Rerum Natura by Gunilla Zamboni aka Gupica for Visionnaire.
