At the Milan Design Week many new and renovated showrooms. Here a tailor-made itinerary for those who want to discover all the news

We begin from the heart of the Quadrilatero, in via della Spiga 34, to walk the 700 square meters on three floors of the new Flagship wanted by Henge and get to know the latest collections designed by Massimo Castagna, Ugo Cacciatori (who proposes his Sisma Table), Isabella Genovese and the Studio of George Yago and Glenn Pushelberg.

The absolute protagonist here is the material or, rather, the manufacturing excellence of a company that, thanks to the internal research laboratory, continuously offers innovative solutions, tailored finishes but also the recovery of ancient treatments and techniques.

Continue on via Larga (Durini district) where Slamp inaugurates its new Flagship for FuoriSalone 2022, a sort of precious contemporary Wunderkammer that surprises visitors in welcoming corners where to sit and look around, colored walls, smoked mirrors and, on the ground floor, a kitchen and a huge 12-seater table where you can sit down to have tea.

All around, of course, the lamps that have made the history of this company founded in 1994, starting with the iconic Lollo, here in the king size version: ten 'modules' high and with a diameter of almost two meters, which make up corners luminous formed by the iconic Tulip, Odeon, Avia, the new Clizia, Accordeon or Lafleur.

At number 2 in via Larga, here is the new Flagship by Dada, an enlarged and renovated space to present the re-edition of the Tivalì kitchen, this time in a scenographic 2.0 version thanks to the work by the Canadian firm Yabu- Pushelberg.

Also in via Larga, at number 23, here is the expanded and renovated showroom of Cesar, the famous brand to put people (and the fluidity of the contemporary family) at the center of his kitchens. Staying in the area, in via Durini 24 the Natuzzi brand inaugurates its showroom completely renovated by the Fabio November studio.

Inspired by Puglia, the region of origin of the Natuzzi family and Fabio Novembre, it welcomes visitors in a beautiful central square transfigured by the typical lights of Apulian religious festivals around which four environments develop with different living proposals which, in colors and details, recall Mediterranean atmospheres.

The space of Caccaro in via Baracchini 9, entirely designed by Monica Graffeo, art director of the company, is completely new, to make furnishings and architecture interact in a fluid way thanks to the unifying element of natural light.

This is thanks to the windows at street level and the large skylight that illuminates the space differently depending on the season or time of day. To characterize and divide the spaces, many green islands created by plants that lead to the latest innovations, such as the Freedhome and Wallover systems.

Also new is the Molayem atelier showroom, with its design jewels, to be discovered among the nineteenth-century Milan buildings in via Matteo Bandello, behind course Magenta.

The new Mohd space is instead in via Macchi 82, it is called Officina Milan and offers visitors a real immersive location, among products , video and music, inside an open space of about 500 square meters illuminated by natural light where different brands and objects coexist in full harmony.

We then move on to the Porta Nuova district to get to know the first Flagship of Ceramiche Ragno, the youngest and most nonconformist line of the Marazzi group, designed by Benedetta Tagliabue by Studio EMBT as a kaleidoscope of colors and textures which, starting from the collage technique, best enhance the chromatic and material potential of ceramic.

A large space 400sqm in which color, and its energy, are the masters, welcoming visitors with two large lamellar structures (one spiral, the other domed) and, thanks to the floor -collage guide and accompany them all along the way.

Finally, in via della Moscova 33 the new showroom of Flexform is also worth a visit, the historic brand of made in Italy excellence which this year celebrates 63 years of activity.
