The immaterial value of ideas takes concrete form in unique objects, thanks to the crafts prowess and productive capacities of Brazil. Josè Roberto Moreira do Valle, inventor and curator of the exhibition, presents an itinerary in Be Brazil through the products of companies that stand out for innovation, variety of materials, flexibility of processes and sustainability, ranging from furniture to lighting, ceramics to objects in stone.
The exhibition 100% Brazil contains about sixty new projects by famous, award-winning designers and emerging talents to offer an overview of Brazilian design today. One theme shared by the designers is that of sustainability, expressed through the use of wood from certified forests and recyclable, native materials applied in unusual ways.
The designer Alê Jordão is also on hand with an installation of recycled–art, entitled Guard Rail (in the Cortile d’Onore), composed of furniture-sculptures made with metal barriers. The proposal of Brazil S/A also extends to new materials: the space will host Best in Show – Ceramics Of Brazil, on the ceramics sector, and Jóias Do Brasil, on the world of jewelry.
Finally, the lounge area created by designer Vivian Coser will also have a display space, with the project Sette7, offering the right context for relaxation and business meetings.
Realizzazione: Brazil S/A
The exhibition ends Sunday, April 9th.
