Vincent Van Duysen presents the Molteni&C novelties with two different settings

On the occasion of Design Week 2021, within the 1300 square meters of the Milanese flagship store Molteni&C|Dada in Corso Europa 2, a large space on two floors inaugurated in 2017 on a project by the creative director of the brand Vincent Van Duysen, Molteni&C presents the new of his collection.

To do this, the Belgian architect chooses to welcome visitors inside two different houses, two settings that are a tribute to two great protagonists of architecture and design: Ignazio Gardella and Carlo Scarpa. The first, born in Milan in 1905, is a master of rigor in proportions and the "gentleness" of forms; the second, a Venetian from 1906, a lover of the clean geometries of the traditional Japanese house.

Both, two protagonists of the Modern Movement and the revolution of Rationalism to which Vincent Van Duysen wanted to pay homage by collecting a synthesis of the shapes, rules, details and color palettes most loved by the two great masters, without neglecting to include of course the iconic Round D.154.5 armchair, designed in the early 1950s by Gio Ponti, and the chairs from the Tea series by London designer Jasper Morrison.

A refined setting with a soft and welcoming atmosphere, outside the frenzy of Milanese events for the FuoriSalone, to present novelties such as Marteen, the new seating and container system designed by Van Duysen for the living room, and the Ratio and Intersection kitchens by Dada.
