The Supersalone, the special event of the Salone del Mobile 2021 designed by Stefano Boeri's team in record time, is open to the public from today at 10am.
Less than three months to create a unique edition, designed specifically to confirm the centrality of Milan and its design system in the world of international design.

It is difficult to say a priori what will be found in the set-up designed by Andrea Caputo in which, instead of the stands, there will be walls set up (we will make a timely report after seeing it). For the moment, the only certain thing is that, despite the expectations of some of a more subdued and muted version, strongly desired above all for reasons of city marketing and communication, the brands have responded unanimously, with a massive presence (425 brands for more than 1800 projects in total).
It will therefore not be the usual Salone but something very different, projected above all towards the final consumer to whom the numerous cultural events scheduled are also addressed.
A calendar of talks, curated by Maria Cristina Didero, which brings together forty voices from the international project, acts as a counterpoint to the projections of the Milano Design Film Festival and to 4 food courts designed by Identità Golose. Also awaited for the students of the universities and design schools selected by Anniina Koivu and for the ADI/Compasso d'Oro exhibition. All in the wake of a phygital project that multiplies possibilities and experiences.
