Apex-Brasil returns to Milan to celebrate the 30th anniversary of Fuorisalone and the special edition of Salone del Mobile Milano, the “supersalone”, in 2021
Showcasing the best of Brazilian design for the sixth time at the Fuorisalone and for the ninth time at the iSaloni, The Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency, Apex-Brasil, returns to Milan aiming to offer a full immersion in the most recent global trends with a touch of our unique “Brazilianess”.
To do so, Apex chose one of the most vibrant locations in the world design capital, the stage for some of the most expected events in the city between September 4th and 19th: the Milan University (Università Degli Studi di Milano) and, more specifically, the exhibition-event “INTERNI - Creative Connections”.
There, under the arches of Portico Richini, Apex organizes the exhibition “Brasil - Design in Motion”. A name that portrays both the versatility of Brazilian design and the dynamics of the scenario created by the interior designer José Roberto Moreira do Valle, designed exclusively to host the work of 50 brands and designers from all over Brazil in different areas: lamps, chairs, stools, tables and armchairs.
Another initiative that confirms a new stage in the partnership between Apex-Brasil and ABIMÓVEL (The Brazilian Furniture Manufacturers Association), through the Brazilian Furniture Project and the Industry-Integrated Design Program.

Speaking of which, from September 5th to 10th, 10 furniture brands will also be exhibiting in the “supersalone”, the special edition of the iSaloni in 2021, occupying part of the Hall 03 at the Rho Fiera Milano. Among the companies are: ByKamy, Cristais São Marcos, estudiobola by Rizzon, Florense, Lovato, Modalle, Ornare, Sier, Tidelli and Uultis. All of them are part of the Brazilian Furniture Project, developed to promote national design, preserving and valuing the manufacturers and designers in Brazil, as well as sustainability, wood, leather, lace, among other Brazilian raw materials and traditional woodworking techniques. Same premises of the Etel brand, founded by the prestiged designer Etel Carmona, 30 years ago in Sao Paulo, Brazil, and which was also brought to Milan, to via Maroncelli, in 2017.

It is also thanks to Etel that, in recent years, Brazilian design has been gaining more visibility, awards and, above all, it has strengthened the originality of our style, consolidating our country alongside important references such as the Scandinavian and the Italian design schools. A result of a lot of research work and a close relationship with the foundations of great masters such as: Oscar Niemeyer, Lina Bo Bardi, Jorge Zalszupin, Gregori Warchavchik, Lasar Segal, Oswaldo Bratke, Branco & Preto and Giuseppe Scapinelli, whose creativity influenced the history of architecture and design internationally
