With a special setup designed for the boutique in via San Pietro all'Orto, Pomellato presents the new Pom Pom Dot collection which tells of carefreeness and roots

During the FuoriSalone 2024 the Pomellato boutique by via San Pietro all'Orto, in Milan, welcomes the Casa Pom Pom Dot project, an installation designed to shed light on the new Pom Pom Dot jewelery line, exactly.

Pom Pom Dot: the new Pomellato collection

Ambassador of a design typically correlated with fashion, the new Pom Pom Dot collection by Pomellato tells of a passepartout element that is as everyday as it is precious, which has been able to travel over time: the button. A motif already present in the Pomellato archive, which for the occasion became a creative inspiration then shaped into pendants, bracelets and earrings, transforming this element into a jewel and talisman.

Always faithful to the traditionally precious and 'relaxed' style, which has made the Milanese house famous as a pioneer in offering jewels to wear every day, the Pom Pom Dot collection tells of carefree and prettiness in a double-sided format forged in rose gold, mother of pearl, malachite and diamonds.

Casa Pom Pom Dot in via San Pietro all'Orto, how it will be

With the Casa Pom Pom Dot project, Pomellato retraces the history of fashion up to today starting from 1967, the year of its foundation, and does so thanks to the collaboration with Secondo Stefano Pavese, famous button manufacturer since 1956.

The story takes place in the San Pietro all'Orto boutique, which for the entire duration of the Design Week is equipped with movable niches which at times reveal and at times hide buttons from the bold designs, made exclusively in noble materials.

Surprising creations commissioned by the great couturiers of the past and by the major fashion houses later, which - as Cristóbal Balenciaga warned «must never exceed the dimension of the female eye».

A close dialogue, therefore, established between fashion, design and jewellery, which offers the best context in which to present the new collection: here, Pomellato meets Secondo Stefano Pavese, shining the spotlight on two Milanese excellences of Made in Italy, both of which are based on the extraordinary know-how of the artisans of yesterday and today.
