In view of the XXIII Triennale di Milano (from 15 July), the Triennale hosts the FuoriSalone 2022 events. Starting with Memphis Again and Inventory of Life, two exhibitions not to be missed

Since Stefano Boeri, the Triennale di Milano has become something other than a museum.

The schedule of events, presentations, conferences, exhibitions, debates is almost difficult to follow as it is dense. As if space, all space, had become the main object: there is a lot of it so it should be used well.

The week of Design Week  is no exception. Some brands will present the novelties, such as the Japanese collective Koyori, Wittmann and Abet . But above all we will go to the Triennale to see more.

Starting with Memphis Again, the exhibition curated by Christophe Radl on the Radical Milanese group. The Memphis pieces are literally exhibited on a runway reminiscent of a fashion show: an installation that helps immerse yourself in the Memphis world and its riotous quest for a different sense of design.

There will also be Matthieu Lehanneur with Inventory of life, an exhibition made up of four installations and curated by Maria Cristina Didero, who comments: "Influenced by everything around him, Mathieu Lehanneur is inspired by what he calls in French ' la matière brute ', matter raw: shapes, shapes and objects not yet molded.

Through each work, Lehanneur stages the complexity of our lives, inviting us to reflect on the conditions, differences and uniqueness of our existence ".

It will be a fascinating, powerful exhibition, to be watched in silence: the ideal place for a moment of refreshment from the chaotic abundance of the FuoriSalone.

Gufram takes advantage of the Design Week to celebrate another piece of the Italian radical. Il Cactus by Guido Drocco and Franco Mello Instead, it turns fifty and the brand launches a capsule in collaboration with The Andy Warhol Foundation for Visual Arts.

As if to say: two sacred monsters meet and ideally confront each other on equal terms to see what they are still capable of.
