With the opening of Cardo Roma, part of the Autograph Collection Hotels brand by Marriott Hotels International, the Cardo Hotels group debuts in the varied hospitality panorama of the Eternal City.

Located in the dynamic EUR district, where the new Bulgari headquarters is scheduled to open in 2026 with an adjoining high jewelry laboratory and not far from the historic Palazzo dei Congressi designed by Adalberto Libera, the hotel (formerly Sheraton) presents itself as a hub with 324 rooms and suites with the intimate allure of a boutique hotel. The refined interior design with great attention to detail and craftsmanship imagined by Saar Zafrir and the strategic concept that unites business and leisure conceived by Nicolas Romero Oneto at the helm of Cardo Hotels have written the new course of the structure initially designed by Lucio Passarelli and immersed in a green oasis designed by Pietro Porcinai.

Under the slogan "A symbol of future nostalgia", the hotel has begun its transformation into a modern and comfortable space that pays homage to Roman culture of the early 1900s by interpreting the unique aesthetics of the city.

Inspired by the ancient Roman idea of ​​"otium", the award-winning designer Saar Zafrir, based in Amsterdam and London, wanted to represent freedom from commitments, with a balanced palette of colors that evoke the Roman Empire, including shades of olive green, terracotta and matt white.
